When I first landed in Kenya, I knew this was going to be my home, a sixth sense, karma? My dream
had always been to build a hotel. So many of us have felt the call of Africa, but to realize my dream
as a single European woman in Kenya it has been an amazing adventure.
On the way I met a Man on Diani beach and together we built Sonrisa, our home.

Born and raised in East Africa, childhood on a farm in the African bush. Operated camping safaris
and built camps from the movie industry to the British army. After travelling across Africa, I finally
put root on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Diani Beach.
With a Girl I met on that beach and together we built, Sonrisa as an extension of our home.
It would be our pleasure to host you on the beach over a “Koroga”. There are so many stories to tell!
